Beaches of Baku
Azerbaijan, caressed by the Caspian Sea, is famous for its azure sandy beaches, located both in the capital region and in the resort cities of the country.
Most of the beaches of the Absheron Peninsula, located closest to the capital, are distinguished by a well-equipped infrastructure, including sun loungers, changing rooms, cafes, restaurants, water parks, rental points for boats, catamarans and other means of water entertainment. Lifeguard towers with qualified personnel are installed on all beaches.
Among the most famous beaches are Shikhov, Bilgah, Mardakan, Zagulba, Novkhani and others. The coast of these beaches is literally dotted with resort establishments of various classes - from small guest houses to fashionable world-class complexes, such as Jumeirah Bilgah Beach Hotel. Amburan Beach Club in the village of Bilgah and Dalga Beach in the village of Mardakan are especially popular.
Another beach center of Azerbaijan is the resort village of Nabran in the Khachmaz region, which is a favorite summer vacation spot for residents and guests of the country.
Finally, it is worth visiting the beaches of the southern subtropical region of Azerbaijan - Lankaran, famous for its amazing black sand, which is believed to have healing properties, and the purest warm waters of the Caspian Sea.
