Winter sports

With no less than 19 ski slopes planned, suitable for a wide range of experience levels, the Shahdag Mountain Resort presents world-class skiing at a breathtaking 2500 metres above sea level. The Resort’s own ski school offers experienced private instructors for beginners as well as advanced skiers. In addition to skiing, the slopes also provide exciting opportunities for snowboarding and snow mobiling. Other winter activities, especially suited for young children, include quad biking and bouncy castles and snow tubing. Additionally, the Resort’s Spa will provide a refreshing break from the snow and ice.

Summer sports

For the Summer season we are delighted to offer a wide range of activities to suit all ages, from an Adventure Park, to inflatable castles and quads bikes to Nordic walking and even Orienteering. All located close to Zirve, our brand new, 4 star, lift base hotel.

SKI COMPLEX "TUFAN"

The new winter-summer recreation ski complex "Tufan", the opening of the first stage of which was held on January 3, 2014, is located in the picturesque Azerbaijani city of Gabala. In the first building phase of the complex, four cableways and five out of ten pistes were built. Ski trail is equipped with an “artificial snow” system. In general, the ski complex "Tufan" has capacity to serve to 3000 people per day.

Currently, tourists can enjoy the cable cars, ski trails and the services of a ski school and the catering facilities. Tourists can stay in the hotels, and a 5-star hotel “Riverside”, which is at the bottom station of the cable car. Everything is provided for recreation. There is a separate section with ski sale and rental services provided. Besides that, one can find here a sporting goods store and a café, all for your convenience.

In order to provide even more comfort for the travelers, the work of creating a well-developed infrastructure still goes on in "Tufan". That includes the construction of hotels, offices, leisure spots for children and etc. There is a plan in works to build next to the ski complex a sports recreation center called “Golf resort”.
